DataGen Agentic API (/api/v1)

New FastAPI service alongside the existing app: versioned JSON API for synthetic data with OpenAPI at /api/v1/openapi.json and interactive docs. Endpoints include tier-aware capabilities, full field-types catalog, validate (dry-run), generate from explicit schemas (JSON, CSV, JSONL, Excel, XML), and generate-ai from column names with optional SSE streaming. Supports X-API-Key (including free key issuance), Idempotency-Key for AI generation with Redis-backed deduplication, structured agent errors via Accept: application/vnd.agentic+json, and an x402 payment path for agentic callers on paid generation.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) for agents

FastMCP server that exposes DataGen to AI clients: tools for health, catalog, capabilities, validate, generate, AI generate, and AI SSE transcript; resources (live field-types, OpenAPI, capabilities manifest); and prompts for validate-then-generate and column-name workflows. Runs as stdio for local MCP clients and mounts on the same stack as HTTP/SSE under /mcp for remote use behind your gateway.

AI Generate Full Data – Schema-Aware

Generate Full Data in AI tab now uses the current schema and patterns. The n8n simple generator workflow was updated to read the request body correctly (supports both n8n body-at-root and body-in-.body). Frontend-v3 now sends sampleData when available so the generator can extract patterns when fieldPatterns are not set.

Schema Builder Preview Tabs (TABLE / RAW / SQL)

Fixed preview modal on the Schema Builder tab so TABLE, RAW, and SQL tabs switch correctly. The active class is now toggled on both tab buttons and the corresponding view divs so the correct content is shown.

Simple Generator Workflow (n8n)

Updated workflow file simple-generator-user-updated.json supports body-at-root and optional fieldPatterns from the request. One workflow serves both Schema Builder (schema-only) and AI Mode (schema + sampleData/fieldPatterns).
